Photoflex and Precision Camera & Video donate lighting equipment to Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep
08/28/2008 - Watsonville, California
Photoflex, Inc. in cooperation with Precision Camera & Video donated a Starlite Kit to the Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Foundation at the Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas.

The Photoflex photography lighting kit will be used by the medical center’s bereavement services department. The kit will assist volunteer photographers in taking beautiful portraits for families facing the imminent death of their newborn babies. Photoflex is grateful for the opportunity to support such a compassionate cause.
The Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Foundation (NILMDTS) administers a network of more than 5,000 volunteer photographers in the United States and nineteen international countries. NILMDTS gently provides a helping hand and a healing heart to families coping with the anticipated loss of a newborn child. The goal of the foundation is to help in the healing process through creating soft, gentle heirloom photographs of these babies. At a family’s request, a NILMDTS Affiliated Photographer will come to a hospital or hospice location and conduct a sensitive and private portrait session. The portraits are then given to the families for memories of their cherished baby.
