Photoflex debuts largest LiteStand™ with flip-top design |

Photoflex has just introduced its largest LiteStand™ for photography and video with a flip-top feature that enables vertical or horizontal placement of lighting, President Sharon Reeves announced today.

The new Master Flip-Top LiteStand™ has a removable and reversible 5/8-inch (16 mm) brass stud, threaded 1/4-20 on one end and 3/8" (9.5 mm) on the other). The stud can be placed either vertically or horizontally for optimal positioning of hot lights or strobes.
"We engineered superior quality and durability into this LiteStand," states Reeves. "Oversized knobs, tubing, cast-aluminum extension collars, and leg struts provide maximum stability and security. The new LiteStand supports a weight of almost 18 pounds (8.2 kilos), including large softboxes that would otherwise bend a traditional lightstand."
As the largest in Photoflex's line of LiteStands, the four-section Master Flip-Top LiteStand extends to a maximum height of 12', 6" (381 cm), and collapses to a length of 43-1/2" (110.5 cm) for easy storage and transport to on-location sites. Legs spread out to 36" (91.5 cm).
The heavy-duty, all-aluminum LiteStand comes in a black anodized finish. Replacement of parts is easy because the stand is assembled entirely with nuts and bolts. |
Photoflex's 22mm Casters can be added at additional cost so the LiteStand moves easily and safely over power cords and backdrops. The LiteStand also fits into Photoflex's durable Multi-Kit, Single-Kit and Outbound Transpac™ equipment cases.
The product number is LS-2320Y. It replaces the LS-2322 LiteStand. |
