Photoflex introduces three new strobe and hot-light connectors |

Photoflex has introduced connectors for strobes and hot lights made by Novatron, JTL, and Lowel, it was announced today by President Sharon Reeves.
The three new connectors are being introduced in response to continuing customer demand. All are made of heat-resistant cast aluminum for durability and long life. |
Novatron Standard ConnectorIt mounts securely on a Novatron strobe light inside a softbox, whereas competitors' connectors must attach via screws on the light's housing, thus exposing the user to light's internal electronics. Large softboxes such as Photoflex's 7-foot-diameter OctoDome3™ are held securely now with the included Photoflex Heavy-Duty Swivel™, which takes the weight off the light and places it on the stand. JTL Connector
The popular JTL lines of strobes and hot lights are accommodated with this new connector, which fits the current JTL line with its three-point bayonet-style fitting. Offering a Teflon® washer rotation system that ensures easy positioning, this new connector fits all Photoflex softboxes, including OctoDome3™, SilverDome™, WhiteDome™, HalfDome2™, MultiDomeQ39™, and LiteDome Q39™. Lowel Omni Connector
This new connector complements Photoflex connectors for Lowel's Tota and DP tungsten lighting fixtures, hot lights used widely for videography and digital photography. The Lowel Omni connector's Teflon® washer rotation system facilitates easy softbox positioning. Its cast-aluminum outer ring with stamped metal insert features brass set screws that allow the connector to mount directly onto the front of the light, unlike its predecessor, the VC-L4002 Connector. The connector is compatible with all Photoflex softboxes used with hot lights, including the SilverDome™, WhiteDome™, and silver-interior HalfDome2™. (Product # VC-BL4003) |
