This kit combines our high-quality OctoDome® nxt: extra small soft box with Starlite® QL. The small diameter of the OctoDome nxt: extra small is capable of producing a variety of lighting styles depending upon how it is configured. Remove the face and baffle for a hard specular result. Defined soft-edged shadows can be obtained with just the face and no baffle. Remove the face and leave the baffle in for a 'form fill' effect. OctoDome nxt: extra small sets up quickly and is very light for boom and hanging applications. The aluminum air-fin design of the Starlite allows for quick heat transfer, so no cooling fan is needed. Great for video and still photography.
