Photoflex recently introduced the revolutionary Constellation3 Medium SilverDome Kit for videographers and photographers who require a portable, yet versatile, lighting solution. Unlike other fluorescent fixtures, where light modification is an afterthought, the Constellation3 has a built-in soft box connector and three Mogul E39 fixtures with individual switches that allow the user to customize their lamp configuration. Paired with the Medium SilverDome nxt the Constellation3 is an essential element for all digital and video lighting, offering the ability to switch between halogen lamps and CFLs.

The Medium SilverDome nxt is a powerful, heat-resistant lighting soft box that gives you soft, natural results. The highly reflective silver interior ensures maximum light output from any light source. Our revolutionary Brimstone fabric makes the entire unit heat resistant and extremely durable. The removable diffusion face and baffle allow you to go from sharp contrast to buttery-soft lighting in seconds. Our patented Quick-Release Corners make setup and teardown a snap. Its heat vents allow maximum airflow and tented vents prevent excess light spill in the studio.

With this Essential Lighting Kit, now you can photograph with powerful, long-life CoolStar daylight-balanced fluorescents, so your subjects aren’t under hot lights and you can mix the fluorescents with window light. Then, with the same kit using the Starlite halogen bulbs, you can match the color balance of a scene with interior illumination.
