I consider myself one of the luckiest people I know. It's hard to believe that I have spent over 30 years traveling to the most beautiful places all around the world. What I GET do for a living is what most people WANT do on vacation. I have spelunked through caves in Central Mexico. I've ridden hot air balloons through the vineyards of California. I have shot out of helicopters all around southwest. I had even shot air to air from a WWII fighter plane. I've found my niche in life shooting people for both advertising and commercial accounts. I have photographed CEO and rock stars and have met many interesting people along the way. I truly love what I do!

I definitely USE my gear! My assistants are far more gentle with it than I am. In fact, my 7-foot OctoDomes have surprising survived my best attempt to destroy them. I wish all my equipment could be so resilient. I know, for certain, no matter where I am, I can set up the same set days or weeks or months later, and my light will match what I did before. It's a wonderful durable and very reliable lighting source.
